Weather conditions can change very quickly – for example, in a closed greenhouse the temperature can rise to over 50°C in just a few minutes, which can seriously damage the plantationIn such situations manual response is often not fast enough, especially during the night, holidays, due to distance from the facility, or simply due to lack of time, forgetfulness or unreliable employees.
Proper side and roof ventilation allows automatic maintenance of optimal conditions in the greenhouse, protecting plants from overheating and ensuring constant quality and quantity of yields.
Greenhouse Automation
Developed we have automatics for side or roof ventilation which efficiently maintains the desired climatic conditions and reacts in the shortest possible time, ensuring optimal conditions for the growth of plants in the greenhouse.
The system uses reliable industrial PLC computers with large touch screens that are sensitive even when touched with gloves. Computers monitor sensors for temperature, humidity, wind speed, light, day/night and rain. Based on the data obtained, the automation precisely opens and closes windows, roof or side ventilation to the ideal height, using mounted motors, and controls shading, heating, and cooling.
Greenhouse ventilation motors
Lateral system motors are usually 24V and 60 or 100W, up to 100m length, making them ideal for outdoor applications and for side ventilation, ensuring reliable operation and durability.
Roof motors are usually three-phase 380V 300W motors, which we also offer.
We also offer fans for mixing air in greenhouses, which can also be used for heating, cooling, water spraying, i.e. humidity control in the facility.
Automatic mode
Depending on the set temperature, the automation gradually opens or closes the windows in the greenhouse in order to find the ideal position and maintain the conditions within the desired framework.
In case of strong wind or rain, the roof and/or side ventilation of the greenhouse is closed for a few minutes, i.e. until conditions change.
At extremely low temperatures, the greenhouse can remain slightly open to protect against excessive moisture while at heating temperatures or too low temperatures, The automatic system closes and turns on the heating system..
At high temperature, it can be additionally switched on cooling system, fans, misting or special cooling systems.
Mobile connectivity and accessories
There is a possibility of connecting to automation via mobile devices and computers where it is possible to directly manage the settings and conditions of the greenhouse.
We can also connect external smart devices to the automation, such as the Shelly device for manual forced closing of the greenhouse or monitoring conditions
On the same automatic, we can also manage the shading, which additionally affects the maintenance of the ideal climate in the greenhouse
